Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

Kablitz stands for environmentally friendly energy generation from biomass and waste in the field of plant engineering. As a plant engineering company, we plan and supply complete combined heat and power plants, boiler systems and hot gas generators, as well as heat recovery equipment.

We are a medium-sized traditional company in the Main-Tauber district, with over 120 years of company history, more than 80 employees and operate our own foundry and steel production facility at the company headquarters in Lauda in order to meet the high quality standards of our customers and ourselves.

Your tasks

  • Independent processing of current bookkeeping (accounts receivable, accounts payable, G/L accounts)
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB

Responsibility for dunning and payment transactions

  • Maintenance of accounts and master data and coordination with the tax consultant
  • Support in the preparation of tax audits and annual financial statements
  • Preparation of advance VAT returns and other tax returns

Your profile

Completed commercial training, ideally with further training in accounting

Several years of professional experience in financial accounting

Confident handling of accounting software (e.g. DATEV and MS Office)

Knowledge of German tax law and HGB regulations

Independent, structured and careful way of working

Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills

Purchasing Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • Strategic and operational management of purchasing for the waste incineration plant construction division
  • Development and implementation of a purchasing strategy to optimize costs, quality and delivery times
  • Responsibility for the supplier and procurement strategy, including selection, qualification and development of suppliers
  • Negotiation and conclusion of framework agreements, supply and service contracts, taking into account economic and legal aspects
  • Optimizing procurement processes and ensuring adherence to compliance and sustainability guidelines
  • Identification of potential savings and development of measures to reduce costs
  • Collaboration with internal departments (project management, engineering, quality assurance, production) to ensure that materials are available on time
  • Risk management and control of supplier relationships to ensure stable supply chains
  • Management, motivation and further development of the purchasing team
  • Analysis of market trends and technological developments to optimize the procurement strategy

Your profile

  • Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, business administration, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in a managerial position in purchasing, ideally in plant engineering or energy/environmental technology
  • Sound knowledge in the areas of strategic purchasing, supplier management and contract law (VOB, FIDIC, BGB)
  • Business fluent in German and English, other foreign languages an advantage
  • Confident handling of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and purchasing tools
  • Experience in international purchasing and dealing with global suppliers
  • High negotiation and assertiveness skills as well as a pronounced cost awareness
  • Structured, solution-oriented way of working with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team

Development Manager (m/f/d) - Plant Construction Waste Incineration

Your tasks

  • Technical and disciplinary management of the development department in the area of waste incineration plants
  • Responsibility for the strategic orientation and further development of technologies in plant engineering
  • Management of research and development projects to optimize existing and develop new processes
  • Managing and monitoring innovation processes and implementing new technical solutions
  • Close cooperation with other departments (engineering, production, sales, purchasing) to integrate new developments into ongoing projects

Budget and resource planning for development projects

  • Identification and evaluation of new technologies, materials and processes in the field of energy efficiency, emissions reduction and the circular economy
  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, standards and environmental regulations
  • Establishing and maintaining collaborations with research institutions, universities and industry partners
  • Promotion and further development of the team through training and know-how transfer

Your profile

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering or energy technology
  • Several years of experience in the development of plant or power plant technology, ideally in the field of waste incineration or thermal processes

Experience in leading a development or engineering team

  • Sound knowledge of thermal, mechanical and process engineering processes
  • Experience with simulation and CAD software as well as modern development and innovation methods
  • Good knowledge of relevant standards, directives and environmental regulations (BImSchG, TA Luft, EU regulations)
  • Analytical and strategic thinking paired with a spirit of innovation
  • Communication and teamwork skills as well as interdisciplinary thinking

Business fluent in German and English
